廖勝典，在美商公司擔任家具設計工程師時，因公司外移，廖老師決定自行創業。靠著他豐富的經驗，為國內多家知名飯店、渡假村、球場、企業公司…規劃製造傢俱。為了延續台灣手工產業，廖老師開辦第一間世金籐飾傢俱門市，從大量生產批發轉型為少量精緻客製化。

Liao Shengdian worked as furniture design engineer in US. When the company relocated he decided to start his own business here in Xiluo. Thanks to his rich experience he still draws and fabricates furniture for several well-known restaurants, companies, resorts, golf course etc.

Thanks to his rich experience he still draws and fabricates furniture for several well-known restaurants, companies, resorts, golf course etc. In order to preserve Taiwanese craftsmanship, Liao master started Shi Jin rattan retail sales business, so instead of a mass production he decided to focus his buisness on the sale of small amounts of exquisite customized furniture.
