西螺大橋雕塑公園 Xiluo Sculpture Park
2000年西螺大橋觀光文化節創辦之初，除大橋保存，環境改善等主旨外，同時尋求大橋轉型目標，欲將大橋規劃成為「世界最長藝術雕塑橋樑」。2001年辦理楊英風、朱銘、高燦興、薩燦如、王秀玘等名家雕塑展後，引發極大迴響，接續幾年間，以邀請創作展的方式來募集藝術作品，先後邀請許禮憲、郭少宗、莊丁坤、王忠龍、楊奉琛等藝術家，以類西螺大橋的金屬材料，藉西螺風土民情為題材，創作並保存公共藝術，累積十數件後，放置於景觀改善後之橋頭公園。西螺大橋東側公園現今儼然成為藝術氣息極高的雕塑公園。這是集合西螺居民力量，以10年辦理西螺大橋觀光文化節之後的卓越成果。
Xiluo Bridge Cultural Festival was founded in spring of 2000, in order to bring Xiluo back into the spotlight after years of declining fame, support the bridge preservation and environmental improvements and many other reasons, while seeking to transform Xiluo Bridge into "the world's longest art sculpture passage". In 2001 a statue exposition exibited works of art of many sculptors, as Yang Yingfeng, Zhu Ming, Gao Canxing, Sa Tanru, Wang Xiuqi... It was such a success that it was repeated also the following years and more and more masterpieces were collected from different artists, like Xu Lixian, Guo Shaozong, Zhong Dingkun, Wang Zhonglong, Yang Fengchan... The interaction between Xiluo landscape, local people and Xiluo Bridge transform the bridge in a constant work of art. Only after many requests and the amelioration of the surrounding area, public gardens were established at both ends of the bridge. Nowadays the eastern park is a sculpture exhibtion in the open air. In 10 years the Xiluo Bridge Cultural Festival has achived a remarkable success and it is the strenght of people of Xiluo.
